Hey there!
My name is Anna and I'm a freelance Concept Artist and Illustrator based in Cornwall, UK.
With over nine years of experience primarily in the video games industry, I provide services such as concept design, style exploration, illustration, art direction and outsource management.
My professional journey in games started out in 2014 in indie dev as a General Artist while studying Game Art Design at De Montfort. I’ve worked for two start ups developing Calvino Noir (PC/Console) and Indigo Lake (iOS), which was then followed by an escape to the seaside to join Brighton’s vibrant games community. I spent the next couple of years as a Freelance Artist where I had a chance to focus on more illustrative projects such as card games, tabletop games and more unique work ranging from album covers to concept art for a VR game. I joined the team at BossAlien (NaturalMotion, Zynga) as a full time Concept Artist to work on an unannounced project which was then followed by Star Wars Hunters, a mobile and switch arena shooter.

A little bit about me
I’m half Polish, half Ukranian and I’ve lived all over the UK as many game devs do, but right now I’m very lucky to be living and working by the seaside in Cornwall with my husband Phil who also works in games. It’s a very gamedev household over here, so when I’m not tripping up over switches and steam decks, I’m usually out exploring and immersing myself in the nature of this stunning part of the UK. I’m an avid reader, especially of the fantasy genre (currently reading Robin Hobb’s Tawny Man Trilogy) and I’m really getting into all the sci-fi TV classics at the moment (X Files!). I also recently picked up an awesome little Pentax ME Super camera and learning film photography so if you have any tips, I’m all ears.
